- Commercial photography is permitted; please notify us in advance.
Before you leave
Turn off lights and appliances, and lock the doors before you leave. Please check out by 11 a.m. so cleaning can begin, and let the host know if you depart early. Garbage removal is not required. Please do not wash towels or bed linens.
Property and safety information
Every room in the house is equipped with a smoke detector. The house is equipped with a fire extinguisher and a carbon monoxide alarm. The property includes stairs. The hosts live in a separate unit with its own entrance. Guests use the main and second-floor accommodation, and no spaces are shared.
Temporary Date Holds
Submitting a request does not reserve dates. After host approval, dates are held for 24 hours while full payment is made through Stripe. A booking is confirmed only after payment is verified. If payment is not completed within 24 hours of approval, the hold expires and the dates become available again.
Cancellations and refunds
- At least 30 days before check-in: full refund.
- At least 7 days but fewer than 30 days before check-in: 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days before check-in, or a no-show: no refund.
To cancel your reservation, please email contact@thelibertyhouse.ca. Cancellation deadlines are measured from 3 p.m. local Prince Edward Island time on your scheduled check-in date. Refund percentages apply to the full booking total, including the cleaning fee and taxes.
